Server changed IP or hostname – locked out of network setup
If you have Auralia or Musition setup to use a network database and the server changes IP address or hostname, when the software starts up, it will allow use of the local database, but the network settings won’t be able to be accessed. This is to prevent students from viewing or modifying your settings if the network is down.
To re-enable editing of the network settings so that you can get things up and running again, you need to edit the ini file on each machine. Open the ini file and change the setting to be able to access the settings page on that machine and update the server details.
databaseremote=true
should be changed to
databaseremote=false
This ini file is located in the folder immediately above the database folder.
