Password Strength

Default password strength has recently been improved for both Staff and Students, but importantly, these defaults can be changed if required by the school, depending on their circumstances.

Default Settings

StudentsStaff
  • 10 character minimum
  • No complexity requirements
  • 15 character minimum
  • Numbers, Punctuation, Uppercase and Lowercase characters required

Changing Password Settings

You can modify settings to suit your school at any time, simply open the Security & Password settings on this page.

Note that this setting is only available to System Administrators.

Password Reset & Recovery

Students and staff can reset their password at anytime, simply open this page.

Staff can reset a Student password on the People page.
