Microsoft Teams - Setup & Getting Started
Setup
To get started using Auralia and Musition with Microsoft Teams, please email [email protected] to request integration and tell us the domain(s) used by your school's Teams service. Please check student and staff email addresses - there may be separate domains for each, for example:
How to Log In
Once we have confirmed integration is complete, open https://auralia.cloud/, press the Login with Microsoft button and enter your Microsoft Teams email.
This will take you to the Sign in with Microsoft page, select your account and complete authentication as required.
Account Creation
Teacher accounts will be automatically created on login if they are a teacher in any class in Microsoft Teams. It is essential to activate classes - this allows students to login and tasks to be assigned. Multiple teachers may need to activate classes; it's only possible to activate classes that you are a member of in Microsoft Teams.
Student accounts are created on login if they belong to an activated class. Students who are not a member of an activated class cannot login.
Migration
If migrating from an existing Auralia Musition service:
- Existing student accounts will be matched by email address on first login and linked.
- Login with existing username/password is not supported.
- Microsoft Teams classes must be activated before students can login.
User Permissions
Your IT administrator will need to grant permission for Auralia and Musition to work with your school's Teams here.
