Microsoft Teams - Assigning Work to Your Class
Assignments
Teachers can set Assignments from Auralia & Musition by selecting a Test or Course and pressing Assign.
Note that you can only assign work to activated classes.
- Select which Class to assign the work to or choose individual students within a class.
- A title and maximum score must be set, as well as a due date. Disabling 'Publish now' will save this as a draft assignment which can be published in Teams later.
Students will see the assigned task in their Teams class. Selecting the link will open Auralia Musition ready to start the task!
Due Dates
Microsoft Teams Assignments have additional settings in the 'assignment timeline'. This includes the 'Due date' and a 'Close date'. Submissions are allowed until the Close date, but flagged as late if they are past the Due date.
Results & Gradebook
After completing a task, student scores will be reported back to the Teams.
Auralia Musition task scores are scaled to the points assigned to the Microsoft Teams Assignment. Students can complete the task as many times as allowed by the Test or Course setting in Auralia Musition.
