Accessibility & Accommodations

The new accommodations feature makes Auralia & Musition more accessible than ever. Instructors can easily assign extra time, replays or answer checks (four-part writing and counterpoint) on any task without having to create duplicate assignments. This is a huge timesaver! Also, 'immediate playback' can be disabled on a per student basis. So, if required, a student can now work through the question text with a screen reader before playback for the question begins.

Applying Accommodations

• People: At www.auralia.cloud (or by logging in via your LMS), search for and then select the student under People, then choose Edit and scroll down to 'Accommodations' to set the accommodation multiples for time limits, plays and answer checks (the last of which applies to four-part writing and counterpoint only)
• Tests: Under Tests, select the relevant test, choose edit and scroll down to Options. Here you can enable/disable "Allow user accommodations" on the test. This option should be turned on by default.
