Network Setup

This page contains all the network setup utilities and installers that you may need when installing Auralia and Musition on a network situation. It does not have links to the Auralia and Musition updaters themselves - please download them from the product support pages.

Setup Server

This has been updated to support Auralia and Musition 4.07. If you are running an earlier version, please use the db_upgrade utility to upgrade your database, you don't have to use the setup_server utility again. We have included the links to other versions of the setup_server uility just in case you are not wanting to upgrade to 4.07.

On Windows, if you have issues running the setup_server utility (please see this page for details) then try installing the VC++ 2008 Redistributable.

db_upgrade

If you have updated Auralia and Musition and are running in a networked (Lab Pack or Multi User License) environment, and have a shared database, you will need to upgrade the database that exists on your server. Download this database upgrade utility to achieve this.

Firebird Server

This is currently the same version as that found on the installation CD. The Firebird server is NOT required for single computer installation.

Transfer Utility (Windows)

This is has been updated to resolve some bugs. Depending on the data that you were transferring, you may have been able to use the version on the original CD successfully, but there were problems with some custom syllabus information.

Documentation

You can download pdf copies of the manual and install guide below. The server setup utility is also available, and may be a later version than that found on your CD. Note that you will only need this utility if you are installing on a network. If you do download the latest version of the server setup utility, please ensure that you install the latest patches on your workstations.
