Changes in 2.1.8

  • Fixed problem where database lock files were not being removed causing "Time out..." messages.
  • Corrected several erroneous progressions in Advanced Progressions topic.
  • Fixed problem where custom chords could not be added to levels other than 1.
  • Chord Recognition topic now shows more than two chord options in level 1 when custom chords have been added to this level.

Changes in 2.1.7

  • Universal Binary now runs native on Intel Macs
  • Fixed a problem whereby MIDI settings could not be restored across multiple users
  • Corrected some Chord Progression errors

  • Fixed crash when using singing topics under some circumstances with MacOS 7-9.

  • Fixed problem whereby note off messages from some external MIDI keyboards were not recognised.
  • Fixed errors with some examples in Chord Progressions topic.
  • Added ability to accept either of two similar answers for Rhythm Elements topic.

  • Fixed problem whereby Auralia Help would open when attempting to retry a question.
  • Fixed problem printing reports under OS X.

  • Fixed security problem whereby a non-administrator user could gain access to the administration menu.
  • Faster and more accurate pitch recognition for singing topics.
  • Moved preferences file to System Application Support folder.
  • Fixed many problems with Advanced Chord Progressions topic.

Changes in 2.1.2

  • Improved compatability with MacOS 7 and MacOS 8. Don't download this update if you are using MacOS 9 or MacOS X!

Changes in 2.1.1

  • Added a "Test Results Summary" report which shows the overall score for each user's test results.
  • Fixed a minor problem whereby the Test Administration page would not draw correctly when editing a test for which results already exist.
